On this website

This website sets three cookies, and only when they are needed. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Name Purpose Duration Type
csrftoken Set when you open the contact form. It checks that the form was sent from this site and not from somewhere else. 1 year Strictly necessary
sessionid Set when a member of our staff signs in to the site's admin area. It keeps them signed in. Up to 2 weeks Strictly necessary
messages Carries a one-off notice, such as a confirmation, to the next page a member of our staff sees in the admin area. Visitors do not get it. Until the browser session ends Strictly necessary

In the Nexus web app

The web app you sign in to does not use cookies to keep you signed in. It stores your sign-in token, your selected workspace and a few remembered choices, such as a preferred view, in your browser's local storage. Signing out removes your sign-in token and workspace; remembered choices stay until you clear your browser data.

The web app, the customer pages (estimate, invoice and payment pages) and embedded forms load their fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. [confirm: whether Google Fonts sets any cookie, or whether we will host the font ourselves]

On Stripe's pages

When a customer pays by card, they are sent to Stripe Checkout. Stripe sets its own cookies on its own pages. We do not control them. Read Stripe's cookies policy.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookie on the contact form, the form may not send. You can clear local storage in the same place; the web app will then ask you to sign in again.
