These rules say how Nexus may be used. They are written in plain English and apply to everyone with access to a workspace.
Use Nexus lawfully
Use Nexus only for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for the records you keep and for having the right to hold and use your contacts' details.
Email and spam
Nexus sends one-to-one email from your own mailbox. It has no bulk sending, campaigns or newsletters. You must not use it to get around that.
- Do not send unsolicited bulk email, or email to a purchased or scraped list.
- Respect opt-outs. When a contact opts out, or an address is on the suppression list, Nexus blocks the email. Do not work around the block.
- Do not hide who you are or send email that pretends to come from someone else.
Content in forms and email
Do not use forms, quotes, invoices or email to:
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
- share illegal content;
- deceive people, including phishing or fake invoices.
Security and other workspaces
Do not try to break, probe or overload Nexus. Do not try to reach another workspace's data, or an account or role that is not yours. If you find a weakness, tell us instead of using it.
Reselling
Do not resell Nexus or offer access to it as your own service unless we have agreed this with you in writing. [confirm: whether agency or partner use is allowed]
Card payments
Card payments are taken through Stripe, into your own Stripe account. You must follow Stripe's terms and rules for the account, including what you may sell.
If these rules are broken
If we think a workspace is breaking these rules, we will tell you and give you a chance to fix it. We may then suspend the workspace if it carries on.
We may suspend a workspace straight away, without notice, when we need to stop harm to people, to other workspaces or to Nexus. We will tell you why as soon as we can. [confirm: notice period before suspension]
Reporting abuse
If you receive abusive or unwanted email or a form submission that came from a Nexus workspace, talk to us. Say what you received and who it came from, and we will look into it.
